BEIJING, Oct. 25, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — On October 29, the BAIC FOTON Africa Partners Conference, themed “Drive to Great,” will be held in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. More than 600 distributors, major customers, industry partners and media representatives from 42 African countries and regions will gather to discuss new opportunities in Africa’s commercial vehicle market and witness BAIC FOTON’s latest progress in deepening localized operations and advancing regional cooperation.

As an important pillar of BAIC FOTON’s African market layout, the BAIC South Africa Plant is not only a key carrier for localized manufacturing but also a crucial part of improving the company’s regional industrial layout and market response capability in Africa. During the conference, the plant will be open to guests. Partners, users and media from across Africa will go onto the production frontline to learn about FOTON’s localized manufacturing layout and experience the manufacturing strength and development achievements of a Chinese commercial vehicle brand in Africa.

Meanwhile, the BAIC FOTON Africa Regional Training Center will be officially unveiled. Focusing on product technology, talent development and service capability, FOTON will further strengthen localized operational support and inject new momentum into regional market development.

In response to diverse transport needs and application scenarios in Africa, BAIC FOTON will present multiple flagship models, showcasing its latest achievements in commercial vehicle product layout and technological innovation. At the conference, GALAXUS R5 and C5 heavy trucks will be officially launched in Africa, and the TUNLAND PHEV pickup will make its South Africa debut. From trunk-line transportation to multi-scenario applications, FOTON will offer more diverse choices through a richer product matrix and further demonstrate its product competitiveness for regional market needs.

In addition to product displays, immersive experiences will be provided. During the conference, BAIC FOTON will set up static exhibitions of medium- and heavy-duty trucks, light commercial vehicles, pickups and vans, as well as drift performances and test drives, allowing guests to experience FOTON’s overall performance in power, ride comfort and vehicle handling.

During the conference, BAIC FOTON will hold in-depth exchanges on regional development strategy, market layout and partner collaboration, and further deepen mutually beneficial relations with African partners through strategic cooperation, customer deliveries and other key segments.

On October 29, the BAIC FOTON Africa Partners Conference will open. More highlights are yet to come.
